HMPA Certification

Human-Machine Performance Analyst.

The credential for the person who recommends how work is split between people and AI, and what that decision is worth.

The role

The analyst recommends. The accountable executive decides.

An HMPA maps the work, sets the human-AI split, prices it and brings a decision-ready recommendation to the executive who owns the outcome. Business analysts reach the role by adding performance consulting. L&D professionals reach it by adding data and financial analysis. Both need working AI fluency.

The path

Three steps to the credential.

1

HMPA Foundations, Part I

Earn the Part I course certificate.

2

HMPA Foundations, Part II

Earn the Part II course certificate.

3

[Remaining requirements]

[For example, an applied project or assessment.] Then the HMPA credential.

Course certificates count toward HMPA Certification. They are not the credential itself.
